Starting in Pakistan and crossing the entire Middle East, my journey will hopefully end in Mauritania. This journey is not driven by religious, political, or economic motives but purely by a desire to explore and document the rich and diverse cultures of this region. The Middle East, often portrayed through the lens of conflict and turmoil, holds an immense wealth of cultural beauty and tradition that is seldom highlighted.

This project is about capturing the essence of everyday life, the traditions, and the resilience of people who have preserved their cultural heritage through centuries of change and challenges. From the bustling bazaars of Pakistan to the ancient souks of the Middle East, and finally to the desert landscapes of Mauritania, this journey aims to shed light on the vibrant cultural tapestry of these regions.

What makes this project particularly exciting is its focus on the positive, the beautiful, and the enduring aspects of Middle Eastern cultures. In a time when the narrative is often dominated by negative news, I want to offer a different perspective. I want to showcase the stunning landscapes, the intricate artistry, the rich traditions, and the warm hospitality that define these cultures.

For the foreseeable future, this is where my efforts will be directed. It’s a journey of discovery, appreciation, and cultural celebration. Through my lens, I hope to bring to light the stories and images that reflect the true spirit of the Middle East—a region rich in history, culture, and humanity.

So, watch this space. There are many adventures ahead, and countless stories waiting to be told. This deep dive into the Middle East is just the beginning, and I’m excited to share every step of the journey with you.
